Commemorating all who served during the Second World War, this replica medal honours the WWII 1939-45 War Medal. Instituted on August 16, 1945, the 1939-45 War Medal was bestowed upon all full-time armed forces personnel for service from September 3, 1939 to September 2, 1945, irrespective of where they were serving.
