Bearing the title ‘Ngana Nyitting’, translating as ‘My Dreaming’ in the Yamatji (Ngana) and Nyungar (Nyitting) languages, this official release unites a $1.70c Australian stamp with an Australian legal tender $1 coin from the Perth Mint. Eye-catching works of art, both the stamp and the coin carry the artwork of Kevin Bynder.

A proud Whadjuk-Yuet-Ballardong man, Kevin is the power behind many Indigenous guernsey and shirt designs for major sporting franchises, and many public and private murals around Perth. A striking illustration of Kevin’s talent, the full-colour coin and stamp found in this official Cover celebrate the Country of his paternal grandparents, who were born in the Yamatji Region in the mid-west of Western Australia. Both the coin and the stamp are highlighted by a depiction of the blue waterways of the Greenough River to the hills of Mount Magnet. The large circle represents the Yamatji Region and the U symbols represent the elders.
